It’s been a long time, but Pages, Places, & Plates is finally back! I’ve really missed writing so I’m looking forward to being part of the influencer and blogging communities once again.

It feels like so long ago now, so for those of you that don’t remember… I had to step away from blogging back in April 2021 due to a change of job. I adored writing for Pages, Places, & Plates, but I just couldn’t find the time or energy to create content around a pretty hectic new pilot project under Social Care, in a role where I needed to give 150% of my mental output as it got off the ground.
I’m still in that job, and I love it more than ever, but things have finally settled down now to the point where I feel I can write again. I’ve missed it! I’m not coming back in the capacity I was before as that would still be too much, but I’m aiming to upload new posts as and when I become inspired. And that includes everything I posted about before – books, vegan recipes, foodie experiences, travel locations, and of course any wonderful products that I come across and want to share. I’ve planned a few posts already:
- Vegan banana bread
- Tavira, Portugal
- Fuerteventura Grand Tour with Panorama Canarias
- Breville Blend Active Personal Blender
As for my non-blogging life, I’ve still been doing a lot despite being so busy. I’ve taken up needlework and pole fitness, and things are much better for me after the events of 2020.
As before, I’m still very much open to collaborations with businesses and individuals. If you’d like me to review your product or service then you can get in touch via my contact form. You can also find me on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!

Welcome back. I love reading these types of update posts and I’m glad things have settled down for you.
Thank you! Glad to be back 🙂
I love that you’ve found some hobbies you love whilst being away and you’re back to doing something you’re passionate about.
Yes, it seems that I just needed to step away from a bit so I could come back to it again! It has been so nice picking up new hobbies though, and I feel much more surrounded by positive things as a result.
Welcome back to blogging. It is good you recognised you needed to take a step back and it is good you learned to enjoy other hobbies also. Thank you for sharing.
